EVALUATION:
IMPACT will evaluate aspects of your school that you would like to know more about:
- School Culture
- Community members’ perceptions of the school
- Students' perception of safety, academic rigor, preparedness for college, etc.
- Teacher satisfaction
- Attendance
- Parent Participation
- After school activities
- Discipline referrals
IMPACTS evaluation methods are as follows:
- Collect and analyze data
- Write evaluation reports
- Use a variety of methods that might include surveys, shadowing, cultural walks, focus groups, or interviews
- Analyze the data through a collaborative and reflective process
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
Based on the research IMPACT will then make data-driven decisions designed to:
- Help staff make connections between standardized assessment results (ISAT, PSAE, ACT, EXPLORE, PLAN) and instructional strategies
- Create and implement Common Core Standards
- Make connections between student achievement and school-wide professional development
